Welcome to my Kite Aerial Photography (KAP) Blog. I was bitten by this fascinating hobby on January 1, 2007 when I took my boy to the annual New Year’s Day Kite Festival at Mission Bay in San Diego. We stayed the entire day and had a fantastic time. Obviously, it also lead to a new pastime in which I’ve not only sent cameras up on kite strings but have even begun to make my own kites. All of the photos and videos on this blog were taken by me: these also include the photos located at the top of every page.
