LA County child abuse worker accused of teen sex

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County child abuse investigator has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 15-year-old girl. San Bernardino police say 45-year-old Rod Carter was arrested Sunday for investigation of statutory rape and was released on bail. Lt. Dan Keil says police officers found Carter and the girl having sex in a parked car and are trying to determine whether she was a prostitute. The county Department of Children and Family Services says Carter wasn’t on duty and the girl wasn’t involved with the child welfare system. Carter on Thursday declined to discuss the arrest but says he’s going to be fired and won’t challenge his termination, calling it appropriate because of the nature of the allegations.

The California I grew up in was, unquestionably, the greatest state in the nation; our schools were number one, our university systems were FREE for all California residents, our highways were technological marvels, our natural resources where spectacular, and our economy was rock solid. The decline started off slowly – we had to deal with several morons for governors - especially Jerry Brown (Governor Moonbeam) and Ronald Reagan (he was in office when the economy went south in the early 1980′s), and taxes started to get out of hand (hence, Proposition 13 – which was enacted because people were, even then, getting screwed by the government that was money hungry).

Also around that time, the tsunami of illegal aliens began flooding in unabated and, once again,  our now idiot President, Ronald Reagan, granted amnesty, in 1986, to the millions that were already here with the false promise that amnesty would not be offered again. Even someone with an IQ equivalent to a bag of rocks knew that amnesty wouldn’t work then and that the veritable cesspool of uneducated, unskilled law breakers would continue to flood across our borders unabated. Why is anyone surprised at what this nation, and especially California, have become since then?

Of course, the millions of anti-American illegal aliens now in California have sucked our state coffers dry with assistance, of course, from the far-left anti-American racist socialists that now run the state legislature. Even now, these racists (and they are racists) want to continue raising taxes so that they can give more social services to illegal aliens. While I’ve never had problems giving social services to real American citizens, the millions of illegal aliens have inundated this state and demand (and get) billions of dollars in handouts: medical, food, welfare, etc., etc., etc. Of course, there’s the huge matter of education. While child do need to be educated, the State of California should not be brought to its needs because we have to spend billions on illegal alien kids who come from families that do not value education to begin with. Over the years, I’ve personally observed children from families that have come to the United States legally (gosh, what a concept) and do spectacularly well – so well that some would surprised their native-English speaking peers in less than one year. I remember one student who ONLY spoke Russian in the fall and by Spring he was literally at the top of the class. The illegal alien kids, however, floundered as they literally had no parental support, came from homes that did not value education, never did their work (because it wasn’t expected or valued in the home). The socialists running the state; however, bent over backwards with “bilingual education,” printing every conceivable state document in every obscure language ever spoken on Earth, and kowtows to every whim of those that are in this country illegally. One little tidbit that often goes unmentioned (because it shows just how corrupt our government has become) concerns the large number of Asians that have come to the United States and live in California. Kids from these families do remarkably well – they are very over represented in our universities (good for them – really) and are exemplary students. Why? There is only one reason – the value education and strongly believe in becoming Americans who contribute to society, not steal from it.

Getting back to this year’s California budget mess, I just read an article published in Canada about what’s happened to our now horrible state. The article, California on ‘verge of system failure’ by Barrie McKenna contains several enlightening comments as well as drivel spewed by morons regarding the eminent collapse of this state.  I’ll comment on the enlightening parts first:

• “California’s fiscal hole is now so large that the state would have to liberate 168,000 prison inmates and permanently shutter 240 university and community college campuses to balance its budget in the fiscal year that begins July 1.” Isn’t that nice? NOT! Remember, it hasn’t been that long ago that all California residents could attend our stellar state universities for FREE!
• “’We are on the verge of system failure,’ warned Jean Ross, executive director of the California Budget Project, an independent think tank based in Sacramento.” Now that’s an understatement. California is on the verge of anything – it’s already falling into the abyss of a fiscal Armageddon!
• “The impact [of the Schwarzenegger budget] would be enough to slow down the U.S. economy. It would be bad for the U.S. and, arguably, bad for the world to do the shock therapy approach.” Well, what else can I say but DUH!
• “California’s credit rating is already the lowest of all 50 states.” Really? What a surprise? Oh, our schools are the worst in the nation, we have the largest number of uneducated adults (illegal aliens) in the nation, and the entire state is a cesspool of evil.
• “California public schools were once a beacon for the country. Now, the state ranks dead-last in student-teacher ratios, 45th in per-student spending and 36th in high school graduation.” Once again, DUH!

Now for the drivel. Some of the morons making the following statements show just what kind of clueless idiots California has.

• The following oral excrement was uttered by Peter Dreier, a low-life “professor” at Comrade Obama’s alma mater, Occidental College. “Americans have been ‘brainwashed’ into believing they pay a lot of taxes, Prof. Dreier added. In fact, they are among the least-taxed people in the Western World, particularly if they’re wealthy, he said.” Drier is clearly a socialist bastard – Californians are taxed MORE and at the HIGHEST LEVELS ever in history of this country. Who gives a DAMN about what people in other countries are taxed! Peter Dreier obviously thinks it’s okay to rape Californians for every last penny so that the socialist agenda can continue to destroy the country. Dreier needs to be de-programmed from the socialist brainwashing he’s suffering from. God help us from morons like Peter Dreier.
• Okay, okay, this next pile of crap (it can’t be called anything other than that) also spewed forth from Peter Dreier’s oral sphincter - “‘California put itself in a straitjacket [with the passage of Proposition 13] that it hasn’t been able to get out of,’ Occidental College’s Prof. Dreier explained.” As a rule, I don’t use profanity of this blog but Peter Dreier is an asshole (there aren’t any non-profane words to describe the bastard). I shutter to imagine how much more we would be taxed today if not for Prop 13.
• This next one is a real doozy – “Arnella Sims has seen a lot in her 34 years as a Los Angeles County court reporter, but nothing like this. Case files piling up by the thousands, phones ringing off the hook, forced midweek courthouse closings and occasional brawls as frustrated citizens queue for hours to pay parking fines. ‘People think we’re becoming a Third World country,” said Ms. Sims, 55. ‘They don’t understand.’” I’m not sure what planet Arnella Sims is from but Los Angeles County IS a Third World country and it has been for a LONG time. I’m not going to go into any rant about that fact now other than to wonder what Arnella Sims thinks about the FACT that Los Angeles County literally pays bribes to Los Angeles County Superior Court judges (who are STATE employees) to the tune of $57,000 each per year. This crime has gone on for more than TWO DECADES. Where has Arnella Sims been all that time?
• Here’s yet another whopper, this one from A. J. Duffy, president of the United Teachers of Los Angeles (another evil entity) – “‘We’re destroying education as we know it,’ Mr. Duffy lamented.” Huh? What? Is Duffy that STUPID (of course he is) – we’re “destroying education?” It was destroyed YEARS ago. As I recently noted, LAUSD has the HIGHEST dropout rate in the state (approximately 50 PERCENT) and hasn’t “educated” anyone in years. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to an LA City School. Any self-respecting, EDUCATED teacher wouldn’t dream of teaching there. Wonder what would happen if teachers didn’t have to pay huge amounts of money in union dues each year.

As I’ve said before, the best thing that could happen to this state is for the “big one” to hit and Los Angeles falls into the ocean. Hopefully, socialist enclaves like San Francisco and Sacramento will fall in the ocean too – and take the politicians and corrupt courts with them. (Okay, so Sacramento isn’t on the coast but maybe the “big one” will flood the Sacrament0 River and take the city with it.

It is now being reported that the State of California has the LARGEST percentage of lowlife that has never graduated from high school (I’m sure they get nice government jobs too) in the country and that ONE out of every FOUR high school dropouts come from just one school district – the Los Angeles Unified School District. Of course, LAUSD has long been known for their evil and incompetence.  Illegal aliens now clog LAUSD (a whopping 75 percent of LAUSD students are “Hispanic”) and 60 percent of male Hispanic students have already dropped out by the beginning of their senior year. Of course, the racists and morons that run LAUSD are, like their bigoted counterparts in other LA County agencies, are too concerned boycotting Arizona (which is trying to stop the hemorrhaging of our no-longer great country) instead of trying to educate their own illegal aliens.

Why is anyone surprised that there was a riot tonight after the Laker’s victory? There’s only one way to go from here – down, down, down. Let’s just pray that the big one hits soon and that all of LA County is washed away, otherwise, the infection will continue to spread – California, the once Golden State, ceased to exist years ago and Los Angeles has always led the way.

• Jerry Brown – besides the fact that he’s “Governor Moonbeam,” he’s also an evil and corrupt socialist who has done nothing to protect Californians as Attorney General. God help us if he wins.
• Meg Whitman – I can’t even say (or write) her name without wincing. First, she destroyed eBay – which used to be a wonderful place to sell things. Now, eBay not only sucks every last dime out of sellers (which is why so many people, including me, never sell there anymore) but you literally can’t even charge actual postage to sell things (really). Of course, Whitman is just like Arnold – she’s buying her way into public office. Then there’s the fact that she DIDN’T VOTE, she supported nut-job Al Gore, and is an illegal alien lover (despite her lies to the contrary) – she opposes Arizona’s wonderful law. Of course, it also appears as if she’s the stealth femi-Nazi candidate. It’ll be a cold day in Hell before I vote for this monster.
• Steve Poizner? Just how many ways can one spell MORON? This clown worked overtime to RAISE taxes and has screwed the people of California as the “Insurance Commissioner.” God help us if this bastard wins.

The Lieutenant Governor race makes me want to vomit. Just a few months ago, our moronic Governor Arnold “appointed” his whore, Abel Maldonado – the bastard who was responsible for giving Californians the biggest tax increases in this nation’s history, as Lieutenant Governor. Of course Maldonado is now “running” for the position and people are always too stupid to vote out political appointee incumbents.  It’s time to take back our state from the Socialists – do NOT vote for Abel Maldonado.

The California Superintendent of Public Instruction race also has one of the California Teachers Association (CTA) whores running. Of course, this election is being held during the primaries (when fewer vote). CTA’s whore is Tom Torlakson who is an esteemed “track coach” (impressive). His list of “endorsements” contains some of the most vile and disgusting people and special interests imaginable – with bitch Delaine Eastin at the very top. For those that don’t remember, Delaine Eastin was the former incompetent California Superintendent of Public Instruction who was successfully sued for literally harassing her staff! Under Eastin’s regime, California’s school performance began it’s rapid descent to the BOTTOM of this nation’s schools. Eastin filled the California Department of Education with her special interest political cronies. God help us if this bastard wins. Do NOT vote for Tom Torlakson.

Moving on to the attorney general raise – just how much worse can we get after Jerry “Governor Moonbeam” Brown? That’s almost not possible – but it is! Los Angeles County District Attorney, Steve Cooley, is a corrupt and vile as the rest of the Socialist/Fascist State of Los Angeles County. There is NOTHING but filth there and Steve Cooley has done NOTHING to stop the evil the County does. Need a few examples? Here they are:

• Steve Cooley has done nothing to prevent Los Angeles County from taking political prisoners (yes, that’s right – LA County LITERALLY takes political prisoners). The most egregious example is that of American Hero, Richard I. Fine, an attorney who has devoted his life to exposing the blatant CORRUPTION that is systemic throughout all of Los Angeles County. Richard Fine has saved the people of California more than ONE BILLION DOLLARS, helped recover more than $14 MILLION in child support from the corrupt Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department which was stealing that money from innocent people  and then NOT giving that money to the children it was intended for. Richard Fine, however, is simply too good at exposing the cesspool of human filth that fills every Los Angeles County Agency – including the corrupt Los Angeles County Superior Court. It is a fact that Richard I. Fine discovered that Los Angeles County has been literally bribing all Los Angeles County Superior Court Judges for YEARS by making illegal payments of $57,000 per year (the amount was recently RAISED by the county). While LA County Superior Court Judges are state officials and are (surprise, surprise), paid by the State, the County has bribed them for so many years that it is impossible for anyone to sue the County (even the sleazy Child Support Services Department has the “penthouse suite” on the top of the Los Angeles County Superior Building on Commonwealth Ave. That’s right – the County and the Court SHARE the same office! Anyway, Richard I. Fine has literally been locked away to rot when Neo-Nazis Los Angeles Superior Court Judge, David P. Yaffe didn’t like the fact that Fine pointed out the BRIBES that Yaffe has accepted for years. Megalomaniac Yaffe locked Fine up more than a year ago – no charges of any kind have ever been filed and Fine has been denied all due process.
• As long as we’re on the topic of child support – where was Steve Cooley in the Taron James case? The County LITERALLY stole tens of thousands of dollars and terrorized Taron James for YEARS for child support even though they knew, through DNA testing, that Taron James was not the father. Furthermore, the County launched their attack on James with he was fighting for freedom during the Gulf War! The corrupt courts finally were forced to admit that James NEVER fathered the child but still REFUSED to give James the thousands that LA County stole from him (I believe that figure was more than $40,000 over the years).
• Where was Steve Cooley when Los Angeles County was doing the same thing to Manual Navarro who, like James, was did not father a child (again, as proven by DNA testing)? The LA County Bastards went after him with a vengeance too. When the Navarro case made it to an appellate court (with one of the few honest judges out there) and ruled against LA County (remember, the corrupt LA County Superior Court Judges NEVER are bribe by the County – which Steve Cooley has refused to stop). Then  LA County Whore and Chief Child Support Department Shyster Lori A. Cruz tried to get the court to HIDE the ruling against the County.
• Steve Cooley is also very good at destroying the lives of good people who the County makes FALSE AND MALICIOUS charges of child abuse and then routinely violates their Constitutional Rights too. The case of Humphries vs. County of Los Angeles is a PRIME EXAMPLE of the evil pile of human excrement that runs the County. If you want to read a real horror story, take a look at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling against Los Angeles County – it’s absolutely UNREAL. Now, LA County has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court because they don’t want to have to pay damages to the Humphries and untold thousands of other good people they have destroyed.

I could go on forever about bastards from Los Angeles County, like Steve Cooley, who destroy lives and abuse children. I won’t go into it here but I am personally aware of a child who has now suffered brain damage because of Los Angeles County’s evil actions.

Moving on to the ballot propositions – what a quagmire of nonsense. The Peoples Republic of California has been destroyed, in part, by veritable lunatics, bigots, and blatant racists in the legislature. Special interests (like the California Teachers Association and anti-American illegal alien organizations) have long had their hands in the pants of the vast majority of legislators. As a result, this once Golden State has become a third-world country in a matter of a few short decades. Because these morons are incapable of doing their job (although they’re very good and screwing the people of California), endless insipid propositions are placed on the ballot to create new nonsensical laws. Of course, we are also bombarded with endless advertisements designed to deceive the real intention of these propositions (and  the illiterate masses of people in this third world country are too stupid to read these ballot measures before voting on them). The latest round of propositions are among the most deceitful yet. Here are a few:

• Proposition 14 – “Increases Right to Participate in Primary Elections” I seldom use profanity on this blog but I can think of just one word to describe this proposition’s name – BULLSHIT! The government is so corrupt that even the ballot proposition titles are deceitful! What this proposition does has absolutely NOTHING to do with increasing anyone’s rights as every LEGAL citizen can vote – what it does is that it allows everyone to vote for any candidate REGARDLESS of their party affiliation and lets the “top two” vote getters to appear on the ballot in November. That means that it will be possible for two candidates from the SAME PARTY to be on the fall ballot while no other candidates can appear – not even write-in candidates. This measure will LIMIT AND PREVENT people from voting for candidates with opposing views. At this rate, the government will soon be telling us who to vote for. By the way, this initiative was placed on the ballot when Abel Maldonado agreed to raise our taxes. God help us! Vote NO on 14!
• Proposition 16 – an “Energy Initiative” funded by Pacific, Gas, and Electric (a company that has been corrupt from the moment of it’s inception) that purports to be “good for consumers” – no, it’s good for P G & E! Vote NO on 16.
• Proposition 17 – here’s another one designed to screw consumers. This one if funded by the insurance companies and claims that it will “reduce” rates (again, BULLSHIT!) Vote NO on 17!

Well, I can’t take any more of this and I haven’t covered other races so I’m going to stop for now. God help us!

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve gone in and started tweaking and repairing the messes left behind by all of the upgrades. As to be expected, that too caused additional problems. (Geez, will it ever end?) I even found problems left over from when this blog used MT and didn’t surface until some of the latest updates were done with both WP and the theme. That problem was an especially obnoxious one – some pages had stopped displaying properly (for example, the right sidebar didn’t show up on some pages) a very long time ago and, despite repeated efforts, I simply couldn’t find the cause. I tried changing themes: that didn’t work. I disabled widgets: that didn’t work. I even exported all of the content to and placed it on another site (as a test): that didn’t work!

The interesting thing, however, is that when I recreated this blog on another site and the problem still existed, other test blogs on the same site, did work. Okay, so now I was really confused - could it be the content of each blog that was the problem? (Yeah, I know, I write some pretty heated stuff -  maybe my topics were just too hot! LOL!) If there was something wrong with the content, then if I deleted ALL of the posts (on test blog, that is), then the right sidebar should reappear on the home page (as well as on a few other pages). Well. . .that was it! After deleting all posts, the right side bar worked beautifully!

Now that I had isolated the problem a bit further, I had to find out the specific post or posts that was/were offending WordPress (BTW, I don’t care if the content of my posts offends anyone or anything), I’m referring to the CODE behind them. In order to do that, I had to recreate the blog yet again on the test site and this time, I started removing several posts at a time (I did this in reverse chronological order under the assumption that the older posts had originally displayed properly and were not to blame). Interestingly, that was not the case: I’ve already made well over 100 posts on this blog and it took a bit of time to delete a few posts, test the blog, and then remove some more. I had already removed a large number of them when suddenly, the right bar started to work again. Aha! I had found something! I noted which posts were remaining and recreated the blog yet again. This time, I looked at the last set of posts I had removed: at first glance, I could find nothing wrong with them except one seemed to have had some content missing – that was strange – sure, I make stupid mistakes when I write (who doesn’t?) but most of the post seemed to be missing. Odd, very odd!

To isolate the problem further, I went to the edit screen (dashboard) – the location where I actually write my posts, as well as deal with all of the administrative components of this blog – and looked at the cranky post. It was there that I noticed something unusual that did not show up on the blog itself (the part that is viewable by everyone) - the title of the post contained additional characters and that these characters were HTML code (which should not normally show up here as I was looking at the code using the default “visual edit” screen where everything should display normally. This was the finally clue that led to the solution!  Given that HTML was showing up in places where it shouldn’t I switched to HTML view in the post editor and guess what?! I found a LOT of extra HTML garbage that shouldn’t have been there and that garbage was the extra crap HTML that many Microsoft programs generate – something that millions of people have complained about for years – most Microsoft programs such as Word and other Office programs output so much extra HTML that many other HTML programs contain commands to remove this junk. Unfortunately cutting and pasting materials from other web sites and from Microsoft programs leaves their junk code, even though it is not visible except when using an HTML editor.

Assuming that the junk HTML was the cause of the problem, I then removed all of same posts as I had done during the previous test except for the one that I knew contained it. This time, I suspected that the side bar still would not display properly and, sure enough,  I was right. The next step was to go into the HTML editor for the problem post and manually remove Microsoft’s junk. Guess what? (You get one guess.) After removing the extra needless and worthless code, the right sidebar now displayed properly and the blog worked again! Even more disgusting though is that I had mentioned earlier that there were no problems viewing the blog, even with the bad code, with Firefox or Chrome, the problem only appeared when viewing it with Microsoft’s IE. That’s right, Microsoft’s own junk code is what caused IE to not display the blog properly. Geez! What a huge waste of time it took for me to uncover this problem only to find that Micro$oft was to blame.

How did this happen? There appear to be several reasons: there were other posts that also had the same code – all of those appear to have been written when this blog still used MT. These same posts were originally displayed in older browsers (and I use the updated versions of all of them) – the latest version of IE has compatiblity problems with many web sites (it doesn’t like some of M$ own junk HTML code). Also, WordPress has gone through several major updates (wish they would add a feature to clean up offending M$ HTML). It appears as if I had used cut and paste to copy a press release I was commenting on in the post were I uncovered the solution. Interestingly, the other posts that contained the junk code did not break the right sidebar - I will often us M$ Word to write something and will then use cut and paste to add it to my posts – I manually removed the problem code from those posts too.

Now that this blog is finally working again (it’s been broken for a very long time), maybe I’ll write a bit more.
